Peer Review College
Call for new members
Closing date: 15 August 2016
NERC is recruiting for Peer Review College members to support its peer review processes.
For further information, see the Peer Review College call for members.
The NERC Peer Review College was set up in July 2003, replacing the previous five standing peer review committees. Affiliate membership was introduced in 2004 to bring an end-user perspective to the assessment process.
The Peer Review College provides assessments, advice and guidance across NERC's range of research investments. However, members are most involved in reviewing discovery science (responsive mode) research proposals and participating in discovery science moderating panel meetings.
NERC publishes a biennial call for new College members. Although the majority of members come from the research community, affiliate membership involves a wide range of end-users of NERC science, from both public and private sectors.
