Nominations for membership of the NERC Training Advisory Group

Closing date for nominations: 7 April 2016

NERC is seeking new members for its Training Advisory Group (TAG).

TAG is the key source of advice to the NERC Executive on the strategic direction and success of NERC training investments, including NERC's role and strategy in meeting skills shortages and other training priorities, on driving up the quality of training, and on recommendations on the award of training funds.

To ensure the membership of TAG includes a spread of expertise across the whole of NERC's remit we welcome applications from people from all parts of NERC's community, including end-users and early-career researchers.

Appointments will be made for one year in the first instance, with the expectation that membership will be extended for a further two years.

All applications will be considered on merit. The final decision on appointments rests with the director of science & innovation and the NERC chief executive.
