For scientists in NERC's research and collaborative centres, universities and recognised academic analogues to build new partnerships with public or private sector science users. (Maximum of £4000 directly incurred costs.)
Marine Renewables Funding Competition
The Technology Strategy Board (TSB), in partnership with Scottish Enterprise and NERC, plans to provide funding for collaborative R&D projects that support cross-industry challenges and cost reduction as the industry prepares for array deployment of wave and tidal energy. Prior to the launch of the competition for funding in 2012, the funders seek feedback on the proposed five themes.
