The role of a hydrologist
Hydrology principally involves monitoring, managing and conserving the Earth's freshwater resources. It studies the quantity, trends and implications of freshwater in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, aquifers and glaciers, and also monitors and analyses global rainfall.
