Style

Website colour palette

The principal colour used on the site is white, with black for most body text. Other colours (below) are defined for use by the CSS (cascading style sheets) - they should not normally be applied to page elements by other methods. Colours from this palette should be used in preparing artwork and illustrations.

Fonts, etc

The website uses two fonts:

Georgia -
used for heading sizes 1 and 2, corporate tagline and "3Is", also denoting main sections in navigation

Verdana -
used for all other body text, crumbtrail and navigation. Verdana Bold used selectively as defined by the CSS.

CSS (cascading style sheets)

The website uses CSS to drive virtually all presentation of content, including positioning on the page.

Wherever possible, local "style" attributes are to be avoided. If the CSS does not provide the style you are looking for, please contact the Web Team.
