Commercialisation help for NERC grant holders and others
If your research is funded by NERC, but you are employed by a university or other research institute, then the intellectual property of your research belongs to that organisation. You should therefore approach your organisation's commercialisation team for help with turning your idea into a marketable product or service.
However, you may be eligible for support from the Follow-on Fund, even if you are no longer funded by NERC.
Training in commercialisation is available to scientists whose work falls within NERC's remit under the Environment Young Entrepreneurs Scheme.
