Workshop on Environmental Metrology

On behalf of the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), with additional support from the Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), the Environmental Monitoring Subgroup of the Electronics, Sensors, Photonics Knowledge Transfer Network (ESPKTN) are hosting a workshop on Environmental Metrology, at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden, London on 11 May 2011.

Presentations will be given by STFC, the National Physical Laboratory and the Laboratory of the Government Chemist, with a keynote presentation by Professor Alastair Lewis, NERC Technologies Theme Leader. For more information and a full agenda please visit the ESPKTN website Link to external site.

The open event has been designed to appeal to both scientists working in this topic in the UK's research infrastructure; including national measurement institutes, higher education institutions and NERC research and collaborative centres; and also to industrial manufacturers and users of instrumentation and data. However, we seek to achieve a good mix of attendees from the academic and industrial sectors, and encourage early registration.

Online registration Link to external site for the event is now available.

Further information is available from Craig Sawyers and Matt Scott.
