Large-scale biodiversity, environmental gradients and ecosystem sustainability - combined workshop report
Two workshops were held in December 2008 that bought together experts on ecosystem sustainability from the marine, and terrestrial and freshwater, communities, respectively. These workshops aimed to gain advice on identifying and outlining options for future planned activities in developing an unprecedented cross-scale biodiversity experiment of global significance that will inform our understanding of biodiversity functions and processes across scales and systems.
