Environmental Information Data Centre (EIDC)
The EIDC, based at CEH Wallingford, is the NERC designated data centre covering the terrestrial and freshwater sciences and hydrology. It is an umbrella body for a number of the data centres within CEH, including:

EIDC also includes the NERC Environmental Bioinformatics Centre (NEBC).
NEBC provides bioinformatics and data management solutions for environmental genomics research. It is primarily funded to support the work of the NERC Environmental Genomics and Post-Genomics & Proteomics programmes. It also has a remit to manage bioinformatics related data generated by NERC funded researchers outside of these programmes.
