Polar science
The Polar Data Centre co-ordinates the management of data collected by NERC and other UK funded scientists in the polar regions, and replaces the Antarctic Environmental Data Centre. The PDC is based within the British Antarctic Survey.

Information about Antarctic data sets from countries undertaking research in the Antarctic is available through the Antarctic Master Directory. This is a project of the Joint Committee on Antarctic Data Management, which helps facilitate co-operation between scientists and nations with regard to scientific data within the Antarctic.
