Improving knowledge of air quality and pollution transport for the European region

The programme brings together meteorologists and atmospheric chemists to focus on polluted tropospheric and boundary layer air, and is investigating how primary pollutant emissions, such as vehicle exhausts are transformed into secondary pollutants, such as ozone, in the European region.
