Shelf Sea Biogeochemistry
Annual Science Meeting 2014
The first Shelf Sea Biogeochemistry (SSB) research programme annual science meeting will be taking place at the Foresight Centre, University of Liverpool from 14:00 on Wednesday 15 January to 15:00 on Friday 17 January 2014 (timings to be confirmed).
Attendance at this meeting is limited to SSB participants and invited guests.
Registration for this meeting is via our online registration form, on which you will be asked to provide information on your involvement in the programme by identifying your grant number or specifying other linkage (eg PAG member, research student, student supervisor or invited speaker). If clarification of status is required, contact the SSB Science Coordinator, Dr Phil Williamson.
Please note, daytime refreshments will be provided, there will be a reception on the evening of the 15 January and a conference dinner on the evening of the 16 January, for those whose registrations are accepted, together with bed and breakfast (for the nights of 15 and 16 January) for those requiring accommodation. In the event of demand exceeding the available accommodation, priority will be given to SSB-funded participants.
For all SSB-funded research students, members of the SSB Programme Advisory Group and representatives of SSB science components, reasonable travel costs associated with attendance at the meeting will be reimbursed. We will not reimburse claims for any first class travel or taxi charges, other than in exceptional circumstances.
The deadline for registration is 09 December 2013, after which time there will be no further opportunity to register.
