Oil exploration, steroid detection and radiocarbon dating aided by NERC-funded research Synopsis: Research for NERC's Ocean Margins (LINK) programme led to the commercialisation of a technique for detecting oil deposits, sourcing steroids in urine and aiding radiocarbon dating.
