Ocean Acidification

Annual science meeting 2012

The second UK Ocean Acidification Research Programme annual science meeting will be taking place at the University of Exeter from 14:00 on Monday 16 April to 15:00 on Wednesday 18 April 2012.

Attendance at this meeting is limited to UKOARP participants and invited guests.

Registration for this meeting is via our online registration form, on which you will be asked to provide information on your involvement in the programme by identifying your grant number or specifying other linkage; eg PAG member, research student, student supervisor or invited speaker. If clarification of status is required, contact the UKOARP Science Coordinator, p.williamson@uea.ac.uk.

Please note lunch, dinner and daytime refreshments will be provided at no cost to those whose registrations are accepted, together with bed and breakfast (for the nights of 16th and 17th April) for those requiring accommodation. In the event of demand exceeding the available accommodation, priority will be given to UKOARP-funded participants.

For all UKOARP-funded research students, members of the UKOARP Programme Advisory Group, and for 'core representation' of UKOARP science components, reasonable travel costs associated with attendance at the meeting will be reimbursed (again please contact the UKOARP Science Coordinator, p.williamson@uea.ac.uk for clarification on this). There may be additional limited funding to support reasonable travel costs (ie up to £150) to others on a first come first served basis.

The deadline for registration is 16 March 2012, after which time there will be no further opportunity to register.

For further details of this event please contact Blanche Coleman.
