New tools for carbon accounting in forests will help meet Kyoto goals Synopsis: Software that interprets aircraft-mounted radar data can be used to produce maps that show how much carbon is stored in forests. Being able to measure this accurately will help the UK meet Kyoto Protocol requirements.
