Aims and objectives
Programme targets were to:
- focus on applying and exploiting existing data sources
- encourage preparatory work for using data from future missions
- identify and stimulate new user-communities and markets for Earth observation data
- help the UK to develop an international lead in exploiting Earth observation derived information and services
- aid technology transfer from the academic to the commercial sectors
