Announcement of Opportunity - Interdisciplinary studentships

The NERC BESS programme is inviting applications for five fully funded PhD studentships in the area of biodiversity and ecosystem service relationships congruent with the BESS programme's science plan.

The studentships must be fully interdisciplinary, with one natural science supervisor and one social science supervisor. Awards will be made to the lead institution as an additional studentship in the 2012 DTG allocation.

This call is being managed by the BESS Directorate at York. Applicants should complete the BESS studentships form below and email it to david.raffaelli@york.ac.uk, copied to fiona.lawson@york.ac.uk, with subject "BESS Studentships", by the deadline.

The application deadline is Friday 25 May 2012.
