Queen's Birthday Honours

The Natural Environment Research Council extends warmest congratulations to colleagues who received Queen's Birthday Honours this year, in recognition of their outstanding achievements and dedication.
Our congratulations go to:
Professor William Davies, Director, Centre for Sustainable Agriculture, Lancaster University, who has been appointed a CBE for services to science.
Professor Huw Davies, Professor of Atmospheric Dynamics, ETH Zurich, Switzerland, and a member of NERC Council, who has been awarded an OBE for services to science.
John Loughhead, Executive Director, UK Energy Research Centre, who has been awarded an OBE for services to technology.
Professor Jeremy Thomas, Oxford University and formerly the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, who has been awarded an OBE for services to science.
Dr Jeremy Davies, Honorary Research Associate, British Geological Survey, who receives an MBE for services to science.
Mrs Pamela Talbot, who receives an MBE for services to the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton.
