The Spring 2006 issue of Planet Earth, NERC's quarterly magazine, has a brief article about bird flu.
You can follow the progress of avian flu and many other infectious diseases by going to the ProMED-mail website. It's a bit dry, but contains pure data, without spin. Mostly it is accurate, as scientists are reporting confirmed findings.
