Innovative monitoring approaches call brokerage events
26 April 2017 (Wednesday)
5 May 2017 (Friday)
As part of the innovative monitoring approaches funding call, NERC invites applicants to participate in interactive brokerage events to learn more about the funding call and to network and develop ideas for related innovation projects.
Two events will be held, bringing together academics with 'end-user' representatives from across the infrastructure, oil & gas and offshore renewable energy sectors:
- 26 April 2017 - British Geological Survey, The Lyell Centre, Edinburgh
- 5 May 2017 - National Oceanography Centre, Southampton
Applicants must express their interest to participate and will receive a formal invitation confirming attendance.
How do I apply?
To submit your expression of interest to attend, please select the appropriate form:
For this event, 'end-users' are defined as private, public, or third sector organisations or institutions, private industry, public bodies (such as government departments, local government, regulatory authorities, etc), non-governmental organisations or charities.
We regret that we are unable to offer a place at the brokerage events to everyone who submits an expression of interest. The participant selection panel will seek to ensure that a balance of expertise is present at the events. Attendance is strongly encouraged but not a pre-requisite for the submission of proposals to this call. Please note that the submission of an expression of interest will be taken as a definite commitment to attend.
The closing date for expressions of interest is 16:00 on 24 March 2017.
NERC will aim to notify successful applicants to the brokerage event by 31 March 2017.
Further information about the brokerage events is provided in the document below.
Please refer to the Announcement of Opportunity on the innovative monitoring approaches funding call page for full details of the call.
