Postgraduate & Professional Skills Development Courses
NERC is pleased to announce the training courses for 2013-2014 funded as part of the pilot Postgraduate & Professional Skills Development Awards initiative.
These cover a wide range of topics within the environmental sciences, developed and delivered by experts from the UK and leading academic institutions from across the world. We are delighted to offer more than 500 fully-funded places available for both NERC-funded PhD students and early-career environmental science researchers.
Further information and details on how to apply can be found in the brochure below.
Please note that closing dates for courses vary, and may be several weeks before the course start date.
Eligibility and funding
Places are fully funded by the Natural Environment Research Council. Please note that, unless otherwise stated, places will be allocated preferentially to current NERC-funded PhD students and early career environmental scientists. However, depending on demand, a limited number of funded places on offer may be available to applicants who do not meet these criteria.
