Peer Review College
The NERC Peer Review College was set up in July 2003, replacing the previous five standing peer review committees. Affiliate membership was introduced in 2004 to bring an end-user perspective to the assessment process. The College currently has over 440 members, of whom around 45 are affiliate members.
The Peer Review College provides assessments, advice and guidance across NERC's range of research investments. However, members are most involved in reviewing Responsive Mode research proposals and participating in Responsive Mode moderating panel meetings.

NERC publishes an annual call for new College members. Although the majority of members come from the research community, affiliate membership involves a wide range of end-users of NERC science, from both public and private sectors. - Members only *Login required*
