NERC evening discussion forum
Environmental Science - Copenhagen and beyond
25 November 2009
Regents College, London
The purpose of this event is to demonstrate the contribution of environmental science to the issues being discussed at the COP15 Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen in December and to take a forward look at the research priorities that the conference outcomes will drive.
Speakers include Professor Katherine Richardson from the University of Copenhagen, who will give an international perspective on this topic. Recent NERC science achievements relevant to Copenhagen will be presented by Professor Duncan Wingham, Chair of NERC's Science & Innovation Strategy Board. We will conclude the programme with an open discussion on the future priorities of environmental change science after which drinks and canapés will be available.
