Primary Tasks
- Work across NERC in the area of infrastructure - to ensure the maximum impact upon the economy and society from NERC’s investments in innovation and translation, research and facilities.
- Ensure that NERC science maintains strong impact upon policy-making and increase its impact upon businesses.
- Develop strategic interactions with leading businesses through formation of a business-focussed innovation programme and strategic partnerships.
- Lead on developing this activity with other stakeholders including EPSRC and the Technology Strategy Board.
Secondary tasks
- Work with other Knowledge & Innovation Managers (KIMs) to identify and share good practice and opportunities.
- Support and integrate the activities of relevant Knowledge Exchange Fellows, where possible, to increase efficiency and maximise impact.
- Support the identification and collation of impact case studies.
- Other activities as directed by the Team Leader or Line Manager.
