Primary Tasks
- Developing Oracle database designs and writing SQL scripts to perform corporate/project functions
- Requirements gathering, design, implementation and testing of corporate/project databases
- Review of non-functioning database objects and agree with Data Architect on the corrective course of action
Secondary Tasks
- Knowledge transfer of corporate standards and database designs to wider BGS staff community including designing and delivering training
- Provide development guidance to BGS teams on corporate database elements
- Creating guidance and technical documents explaining the corporate and project database designs, procedures and help pages
