Skills & Careers
- Develop a new basis for NERC support for postgraduate training.
- Enable people within our community to more readily identify the skills that exist within the community and to more effectively work together.
Corporate Human Resources
- Provide research centre and Swindon Office directors with the tools and expertise necessary to enable them to shape their workforces to meet changing needs and budgets.
- Ensure that all NERC staff understand the basis of their relationship with the organisation and how they can effectively build careers.
- Provide high-level support to centres in delivery of their people management functions, including restructuring support, complex casework, performance management, specialist advice, learning and development activities including the Leadership Programme, and an interface with the Shared Services Centre (SSC).
