NERC equipment pool
Our safety equipment pool and is located at Polaris House, Swindon.
You can borrow equipment for short/medium term use at NERC sites. Some items can only be used by staff who are qualified and authorised in their use.
If you are going to need to use equipment for a long time you must buy your own, building this into the early stages of project planning.
If you borrow equipment, you are responsible for:
- arranging its collection and prompt return
- the cost of repairs for any damage during use
- having the right documentation from the Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser for transporting compressed gas, whether carried by NERC vehicles or by contract carrier. You can get this documentation from Bill Hall.
New SF6 gas cylinders
You can order these through Bill Hall for delivery to sites. You must advise him of any returns.
