Nominations for membership of the NERC Training Advisory Board
NERC is not currently seeking new members for its Training Advisory Board (TAB).
TAB is the key source of advice to the NERC executive on the strategic direction and success of NERC training investments. This includes advising on NERC's role and strategy in meeting skills shortages and other training priorities, driving up quality of training, and recommendations on the award of training funds.
To ensure the membership of TAB includes a spread of expertise across the whole of NERC's remit we welcome applications from people from all parts of NERC's community including end-users and early-career researchers.
Appointments will be made for one year in the first instance with the expectation that membership will be extended for a further two years.
All applications will be considered on merit. The final decision on appointments rests with the director of science & innovation and the NERC chief executive.
Opportunities to self-nominate or nominate a colleague for Training Advisory Board membership will be advertised widely and on this page.
