NERC wants to begin a series of online debates in which we invite you, the
public, to talk to us about aspects of environmental science.
Our first debate, the NERC Climate Change Challenge, which opened on Monday 18 December 2006, threw down a challenge to those who are sceptical about the scientific evidence of climate change.
In this debate your questions and statements were addressed by our team of experts, including NERC's Chief Executive at the time, Professor Alan Thorpe.
We welcome suggestions for future debate topics.
